مبدأ العمل لفلتر الهواء المضغوط
جاذبية
في الهواء المضغوط ، ستجتمع قطرات الزيت ذات أقطار الجسيمات التي تتراوح من 20 م إلى 50 م . كلما زادت سرعة تدفق الهواء ، انخفضت كفاءة الترشيح ؛
الاصطدام بالقصور الذاتي
جزيئات المنطقة الكبيرة التي يبلغ قطرها أكبر من 1 م لا تتسق مع مسار تدفق الهواء. كلما زادت سرعة تدفق الهواء ، زاد معدل الاصطدام وأفضل التأثير.
اعتراض مباشر
يتم اعتراض تدفق الهواء من الجزيئات بقطر من 1 م إلى 0.3 μ م وفصله بواسطة طبقة الألياف عند 1/2 من عنصر المرشح. كلما كان الجسيم أصغر ، انخفض كفاءة الاعتراض.
اختراق
الجسيمات التي يبلغ قطرها أقل من 0.3 m صغيرة جدًا بالنسبة لبراعة السائل. حركة براوني غير النظامية المتولدة في هذا الوقت لا تتفق مع مسار تدفق الهواء. كلما كان الجسيم أصغر ، زادت حركة البراوني وأكثر كثافة احتمال التقاط.
